they all seem to be common stocks if that makes a difference. there are no Cusip numbers except for the one company above. we have been trying to research these on and off for the past 14 years. I would appreciate any help.
The challenge is that companies are bought and sold and also go out of business. For example, RJR Nabisco went private, was spun off, and then was purchased by Philip Morris, and then spun off and is now part of Kraft, stock symbol KFT. So, presumably, you now own some shares of Kraft. Probably the easiest thing for you to do is take your list to a brokerage firm, walk in, act like you’ve got a lot of money, and some eager broker will do your research for you.
