Valid evidence from books?
Let’s say I’m writing a book on a boy who grows wings and starts helping people, becoming a hero. He lives in an apartment in New York and in one part of the book, he goes to L.A. The book mentions the events of Sept 11, Wall street crash and Obama becoming president.
Now, let’s imagine the human race is gone and in 2000 years, an alien race finds the book and deciphers the language.
They find ruins of cities where L.A and New York are said to be. They even locate an apartment building. They find the ground zero memorial plate, the Wall Street plate and an Obama billboard sign.
Will this evidence prove to them that a boy who grew wings actually lived and helped people?
only if the hero’s name is Jesus . . . . or so it would seem.
