What do you think is better to collect, all the presidential dollars, or all the 2009 memorial pennies?
There will be many, many presidential dollars and most of them will have never and will probably never again have a U.S. coin made in their honor. However, on the other side of the line, the pennies will only be made this year. NEVER AGAIN!!! I think both are memorable and honorable and am going to collect both of them, just was wondering which I should collect in Proof cond.
Both would be the best. If you buy the 2009 proof set you get the 4 cents in their own holder as well as the dollar coins in their own holder. The proof sets are selling for around $32.95. It is always cheaper to buy coins in sets than individually. Pick up a copy of Coin World at a coin dealer and you will see what is available in deals from the big coin dealers. The dollar coins of less known presidents should be a good investment also, for fewer will be struck.
