Why does everyone copy move sets from serebi or other websites?
Can’t anybody here realize that Pokemon is the only RPG game that requires a lot of strategy?
Why do they simply ruin most of the fun part by simply copying move sets just because it is considered that they are the best for that Pokemon alone.Why can’t people come with their own strategies by teaching what best move set they can come about so they can be something really special?
Serebi has the best common move sets, but I know many good ones that Serebi haven’t even dreamt about. For example, everyone will teach a skarmory or empoleon flash cannon. Steel wing is less accurate and not as powerful, but it ups defense, which is good if skarmory or empoleon want to run for a long time, and steel pokemon should. It’s defending secretly while attacking, and one of my favourite strategies. Also, don’t teach groundon eruption or fire blast. Back to your point, I totally agree, it’s pointless. But people desperatley want to win and they think that is the best way. I have won 163/163 Wi-Fi matches because of my strategy ( a further 11 weren’t completed ). Apparantley more than half of my opponents used Serebi and they lost! I always think of my own strategies, because then, I can confuse my opponents! I had Giratina vs Rayquaza. He expected a dragon attack and sent out golem – and watched in horror as I used ice beam! I always try to predict my opponents next move, and that’s how I win. Serebi as you noted use moves that are the ‘the best for that Pokemon alone’. I use combinations. My Zapdos knows thunder, but not Rain Dance. I only use Zapdos when there’s a Kyogre in my party – that’s why. I’m interested in strange strategies, and will be interested to see any other ones…
