Car Question, spray paining and making a fake hood scoop look real..need a car expert!?
so 3 years ago I had a gift certificate to pep boys and I put a fake hood scoop on my car, it looked pretty cool and with the silver hub caps it looked pretty good..It was more of a joke cause I don’t know much about cars and I could car less about what people think
We painted the hood and trunk back and I got new taillights so now it looks pretty sick, black rims too
Now I wanna make thge hood scoop look real, what kind ofmold or clay or something would I need to like smooth out from the top of the scoop to the hood so its looks more real, and my paint chips sometimes, what is the best type of spray paint to use??

Try Bondo. Make sure to prep surface first,sand, prime, then paint.
