What footwear is recommended for Egypt/Jordanian Desert Wadi Rum?
I’m on a bit of a budget and wondered if it would be an absolute necessity to have a set of decent durable walking shoes for travelling around Egypt and Jordan, at the moment I have some relatively durable tennis kind of trainers.
Wadi Rum is the desert in Jordan, lol of course I will have flip flops i live in them, but going across the desert may be a bit dodgy
Its really sandy and it can be quite rocky in areas, We did quite a bit of walking so comfortable shoes, but i think you will get hot in walking shoes, trainer are what i wore.
